Meet me in the Stair well - Twin Towers

PLEASE READ TO THE VERY END. IT IS BEAUTIFUL.
'MEET ME IN THE STAIRWELL'

You say you will never forget where you were
when you heard the news on September 11, 2001.
Neither will I.

I was on the 110th floor in a smoke filled room
with a man who called his wife to say 'Good-Bye.'
I held his fingers steady as he dialed.
I gave him the peace to say,
'Honey, I am not going to make it,
but it is OK. I am ready to go.'

I was with his wife when he called as she fed breakfast
to their children. I held her up as she tried to
understand his words and as she realized
he wasn't coming home that night.

I was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor
when a women cried out to Me for help.
'I have been knocking on the door
of your heart for 50 years!' I said.
'Of course I will show you the way home -
only believe in Me now.'

I was at the base of the building with the Priest
ministering to the injured and devastated souls.
I took him home to tend to his Flock in Heaven.
He heard My Voice and answered.

I was on all four planes,
in every seat, with every prayer.
I was with the crew as they were overtaken.
I was in the very hearts of the believers there,
comforting and assuring them that their faith had saved them.

I was in Texas, Virginia, California, Michigan, Afghanistan.
I was standing next to you when you heard the terrible news.
Did you sense Me?

I want you to know that I saw every face.
I knew every name - though not all knew Me.
Some met Me for the first time on the 86th floor.

Some sought Me with their last breath.
Some could hear Me calling them
through the smoke and flames;
'Come to Me.. this way... take my hand.'
Some chose, for the final time, to ignore Me.
But, I was there.

I did not place You in the Tower that day.
You may not know why, but I do.
However, if you were there in that explosive moment in time,
would you have reached for Me?

Sept.11, 2001 was not the end of the journey for you.
But someday your journey will end.
And I will be there for you as well.
Seek Me now while I may be found.
Then, at any moment, you may know you are
'ready to go.'

I will be in the stairwell of your final moments.

GOD.

During the next 60 seconds, stop what every you are doing,
and take this opportunity. ( Literally it is only 1 minute.)
All you have to do is the following:

Stop and think and appreciate God's power in your life,
for doing what you know is pleasing to Him.
If you are not ashamed to do this, follow the instructions.
Jesus said 'If you are ashamed of Me,
I will be ashamed of you before my Father.'

If you are not ashamed, send this message...
only if you believe 'Yes, I love you GOD.
He is the fountain of Life and My Savior.
He keeps me going day and night.
Without Him, I am no one.
But with Him, I can do everything.
CHRIST IS MY STRENGTH.'

THIS NEEDS TO GO AROUND THE USA MANY TIMES

Week in Review

These past few weeks have been crazy so i will skip a week.
MONDAY - It just seems to be harder to wake up on a Monday morning that usual. After work we had dinner and then had a family home evening. The girls are definately in the terrible twos.
TUESDAY - It was another day at work. After dinner we went to Day Farms to find out what they had there. We were to late for the U-Pic
k section so we went over to the main building. There they had a variety of fruits and vegetables. We ended up picking 4 lbs of strawberries, but they were the tiny ones. We thought that the kids would be so excited to pick but they were more interested in playing in the dirt and mud then picking. We also bought two 1/2 bushels of peaches for $18 a piece. What a deal.
WEDNESDAY - After work I went to Costco to get some things that we needed. I ended up buying like 16 lbs of strawberries for making my favorite jam. When I got home we had dinner and then put the kids to bed and started makin
g strawberry jam. We were up until 12:30 canning but it was worth it.
THURSDAY - My last day of work this week until a 4
day weekend. Hurray. This evening we canned peaches. They were so good. We were up until 1:00 but it did not matter because I did not have work the next day.

FRIDAY -
We took Trevor to school and then went and picked three boxes of tomatoes. The only problem was that they were not ripe enough so we will have to wait to process them. It was so much fun picking tomatoes and the girls were such
great help. We would pick the tomatoes and hand them to the girls and they would take them and put them in the box. We found out today that George and Melissa would not be coming because she has Strep. It was a relief but disappointing at the same time. So I called my parents and convinced them that they have to come help with the basement.
SATURDAY - I worked on the basement
for a good part of the day. We went to Lowes to pick out the bathtub and the vanity that will go in the bathroom. This is the last major hurdle to finishing the framing. I need to know the dimensions to frame for. I went a bought a little play pool for the kids and but it at the end of the slide on the swing set. They had so much fun. The day just seemed to go by so fast.

SUNDAY
- Today was the last Sunday o
f our month for teaching our Primary Class, and boy am I glad. The kids were like so restless and they all wanted to talk at the same time. When we walked home from church the wind was blowing hard but we thought nothing of it. As soon as we got home Brigitte's mom called and said that there was a severe thunderstorm warning and that everyone outside needed to go inside. About on hour later the storm hit. The wind blew and it started to rain hard. I was a little worried because my parents were driving in the weather. It took them 3 and a 1/2 hours instead of 2 hours. While we waited for them we decided to process a box of tomatoes. We should have waited because not all of them were ripe, but oh well.
